Review on Enhance Security with Defender Security U 9513 Latch Shield - 12 in., Steel, Gray, for In-Swinging Doors by Devin Henry

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Works like a charm for those pesky kids who should be in the same room as you/your partner

Children can no longer stick a knife in a door and open it. For this Karen, try tossing your purse in her and see if it helps stick. No instructions? No problem, use your critical thinking hat. don't you have it Try this: Model a jig to frame the side of the door. CUT (the part that rests against the door when you close it). This is the part that looks like a Z, not a C ^^ Make sure your door is still closed and you have enough room for a C piece! Then mark and pre-drill 1/8-inch holes in the door frame. Attach the Z-piece with the machine screws. Use a flathead screwdriver (or power tool). Be patient. Make sure the part is straight before tightening. Model a C-shaped piece leading to the door. Mark the holes and pre-drill them with a 1/16" drill bit <You can apply glue to the back of the C piece at this point if you like> Carefully screw item C into the door if you have one have hollow door. The setup should be correct if you modeled it correctly.
