Contrary to some negative reviews, I had absolutely NO issues with the cap or the replacement cartridge. I just followed the instructions that came in the box.*** Make sure to run a full bowl of water through the new filter about 8 times. The Culligan water filter jug is a wonderful part of my life! Before trying this filter pitcher, I relied on drinking water from heavy, expensive water bottles or plain tap water, which had a chemical taste.
