My dogs can go into the basement and through the dog door to the fenced back yard. In recent months they have become shy about coming back and going out at night. They're getting old, and as soon as I get up and turn on the light in the basement, they come in. So, these little lights helped illuminate the steps in the basement, and I'm going to put a third one near the dog door - yes, treat yourself to a pet? Well, more like a spoiled dog mom because I don't have to walk my dogs and they save the day (or rather the night) with these lights. Motion detection is adequate, a bit slow when activated, but good enough. Brightness is what I expect from small batteries. Basically satisfied.
