Using non-toxic eco-friendly biodegradable soap for hand washing dishes and utensils seems wise both for health and the environment--and this dish soap performs well. The product dissolves grease well although the suds are not quite as luxurious as typical commercial brands but they are perfectly adequate.I used the liquid dish soap to clean pots and pans along with delicate glassware and am pleased with the results. The product has a fresh citrus scent and it rinses cleanly. I haven’t noticed it being particularly kind to hands but that is the case for most if not all dishwashing liquids. Cruelty-free.
