Luminaire was not assembled correctly
Luminaire needs to be assembled. The threads on two of the six rods were reversed and the die had to be rethreaded. The problem is that the lantern is pre-wired with knurled pins so it took some time to disassemble the lantern, re-tighten the rods and reconnect the light. Just poor quality control checking the threaded rods before they leave the factory. If you don't know how to do this type of repair, you will send it back because you will not be able to attach two rods to the hub of the jig.
