I originally bought a 220lb nib for my 100lb bag mainly because it was 3 inches shorter than this one. transferred to my floor joists. So I bought a 100 pound quill and it was day and night! The bag bounced around and when I locked the loose chains there was complete silence. Well, not 100% quiet as the spring squeaks every few swings, but it doesn't feel like a house collapsing around me anymore.
