I have a lilac amazon crown. I adopted him a few months ago. He was on a terrible diet. Apparently they only fed him sunflower seeds. I bought different seeds but he didn't try them. I tried regular real food/fruits/vegetables and he didn't even try them. He seemed to like peas, grapes, and strawberries. But I knew it would be difficult for him to switch to pelleted food or anything else that is more nutritious. I felt terrible about his diet. I came across this product and gave it a try. He loves to! (although I must confess it took a few days before he actually ate it) it's now his favorite food. ** first I had to put some seeds in his bowl with this food, then I added less and less until he only ate this food)
