Review on Zscaler Cloud Platform by Freddy Hammonds

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Zscaler was founded in 2007 as a spinoff of F5 Networks.

With so many companies offering security services, how does Zscaler stand out? What makes them special? This article will outline why they stand out in the marketplace. Zscaler was created when FireEye acquired F5 Networks and combined the two companies together into a new division called F5 Labs. In 2011, the group launched a private cloud solution called SecureSphere. In 2012, they released a public cloud called Zscaler Security Cloud. Both solutions offer powerful data collection and analytics capabilities. As a technology leader in securing the internet, Zscaler has taken a unique approach to the market. Rather than compete directly against other security vendors, Zscaler decided to use its engineering prowess to solve business problems instead. It focused on creating software that would help businesses detect threats. Instead of competing with the other big security vendors, Zscaler made security its core competency. That way, customers could expect Zscaler to have cutting edge technology that provided more functionality and better value. And it’s worked. Since its founding, Zscaler has earned recognition for developing innovative technologies that protect businesses from attacks and intrusion. These include tools for application security, website vulnerability detection, DDoS mitigation, anti-phishing, anti-malware, and advanced malware protection.
