My daughter loves them. They are thin but not translucent. Just not fat, by no means. To wear them in winter, she would have to wear leggings underneath to keep them warm enough. But they are very soft and hold the color well. No fading so far or anything weird, just a really cute pair of pants! You can wear them to school or to bed, they're always great. Personally I would order a size up so they fit longer. It's just that the hair is smaller/shorter than I would like, but still fits as expected.
