Be careful. it is not secure
I bought this for my 16 month old grandson and he loved it! BUT he managed to unclip the bottom bar and put a bead in his mouth! Those 3 straight pieces of wood below are really coming apart. I can see the glue but it's not holding well enough. I checked it for smoothness and looked for chipped paint but didn't think to test it for firmness by pulling on it. I searched for the original Busy Beads many years ago.
