I did half the work on the last install and had to mickey the led strip. Suffice it to say that a 12-year-old was trying to impress a science teacher. So I measured the total distance (the third time I installed the LEDs - the last two strips didn't last more than a couple of months before they burned out) and then cut them off at the marks. see enclosed instructions. I used a 24v transformer. I advise you to do the same (I think you must do it). But it's amazing. It didn't flicker, didn't burn out sections of the LED, and was very flexible without damaging the LEDs. I had to turn it 90 degrees because the lighting ran along a vertical wall above the cabinets. But I'm very satisfied. A few years ago you would have paid three times as much for it. I had to install Philips and another high end LED strip and both failed. It doesn't, so I'm very impressed. Wouldn't waste time writing if it didn't help me.
