This was my first upgrade from Canvas Vans and I couldn't be happier. After two months of intensive driving, they look almost untouched. They might not be the most stylish skateboarding shoes you can buy, but for the money they offer functionality and durability. My Tube Shoe Goo is ready but it doesn't look like I'll ever need it. UPDATE: I'm on my second pair of these products and have been very pleased so far. I finally destroyed the first pair after riding every day for seven months. The leather upper actually performed very well; it was a rubber sole that eventually wore out. My new black shoes have more scuffs than the blue ones, but if you're worried about scratching your skateboard shoes, you probably need to find a new hobby.
