The stock shocks on my XL883L always bottomed out at .

The stock shocks on my XL883L always hit curbs or small potholes. I switched to a heavier fork oil but it still wasn't harsh enough. The answer to this question are the reinforced Progressive Suspension fork springs! No more problems with the floor. And the ride is really responsive. I wish I had done this a long time ago.
