I wasn't sure what to expect from carpet steaming, but sometimes I don't feel like pulling out a big dishwasher. I used this to take care of a medium sized dog poop accident on carpet. Overall it did a pretty good job. I don't think he'll ever use it for my whole living room, but definitely for minor accidents. My only dislike of this screen is the large center lid. I feel like it covers half of it and gets more steam up onto the carpet than down. Just a small design flaw that could have made carpet cleaning more efficient.
