Cleaning corners and under or behind furniture is a lot less labor intensive, especially on hard floors. The suction power can be boosted when extra power is needed, allowing for cleaning in tight spaces to be changed on the fly, which I found to be a very handy feature. The lack of a power cord makes it much more natural to move around the apartment. It's nice not to have to worry about the convenience of sockets or the risk of tripping over the power cord, but the compromise is that the battery stays plugged in when the vacuum is in use. However, not everything is so difficult. This is relatively inconspicuous and does not impede the mobility of the vacuum cleaner. All attachments connect easily and work as advertised. The vacuum cleaner is quite easy to assemble. However, I have found that removing the mud shell is more difficult than it should be, requiring some amazing strength and awkward twisting movements that can be difficult for those with arthritis and other muscle issues. Once removed, the waste tray and filter are easy to clean. The multi-surface carpet nozzle has grooves on the rollers to cut through tangled hair or fibers. This is a specially designed feature that makes removing hair and fibers easier by allowing you to easily reach them and then clip them out. All vacuums have a harder time cleaning carpets due to loose fibers, ingrown hairs and dust. What I'm looking for is a quick and easy way to access cleaning residue so it can be removed as conveniently as possible. The battery charges easily and separately, but unfortunately it takes 2-3 hours to charge, which allows you to clean for up to 45 minutes. I wish charging the battery wasn't so tedious as it only takes 30-45 minutes of continuous cleaning afterwards. The bottom line is that the Hoover Onepwr Blade MAX multi-surface cordless vacuum with cordless stick is well thought out and easy to use. Use a cordless vacuum that works as advertised and has only a few minor issues that affect its overall usability.
