The peg was very strong and very easy to stick into the ground. The only downside was that the chain was too thick. I have a doxy puppy that will grow to 16lbs. She barely weighs 6 pounds and cannot move easily. The chain was too heavy and too long. I thought I bought a small chain, but I had to buy an even smaller chain from another store. However, once that was fixed, everything worked like a dream! It's going nowhere and the swivel prevents it from getting tangled. My girl is happy when she has to go outside unsupervised and I'm glad to know she's not going anywhere! Although the chain was too heavy for my dog, I have to say it was really strong!
