We've had a new house for 2 years so we finally thought it was time to clean the windows. Since we are in the fall I didn't want to pay to have them professionally cleaned when I can enjoy them all season long. (Thanks PMV). So I decided to just do it myself until spring when we can hire someone. After reading the reviews, I decided to give this inexpensive alternative a try. It was good. I couldn't reach my second floor windows - maybe 1/2 high. Without going on tiptoe (I'm 5ft) so maybe it would work fine for an average height person, but not here. The soap sprayed and rinsed well, but as it dried I could still see the dirt on almost all of the windows. I'm sure I'll use what I have. Maybe it will do its job better after a thorough professional cleaning? For the occasional off-season cleaning, but definitely not enough to need cleaning after 2 years.
