These are good boots! I'm glad I chose her. I have a tall golden one with big hairy legs. And gets balls of ice cream between her toes and then she can't walk anymore. This is our third pair of dog shoes. Good grip on snow and ice. We've been using them for a few weeks and I would say they offer more traction than the boots he's worn in the past. My dog has worn them with and without socks. I recommend socks with handles underneath. I think they help keep the boots in place. The boots did not turn sideways - they are easy to put on. They open wide and are easy to put on. So if your dog doesn't like shoes or gets a lot of exercise, this could be a good choice. If your dog is seriously against shoes, try socks first. They're not waterproof, so don't expect them to be dry inside when you're running in the snow. At the same time, my dog's paws became noticeably drier. They also have no inner lining to keep out the cold. But they are thick enough to keep out the cold. I wish they were made for longer paws. My Golden has 3.7 inch paws (front toe to back toe). Therefore, they are a bit short on the front legs. But they don't seem to bother him - they dry fairly quickly and seem to be holding up so far. ...They are not worn or torn. I would say they have average wear. They seem well constructed for the price. I would recommend them for snow or when your dog needs extra support.
