Review on 💧 Pentek EP 20BB Carbon Cartridge: Effective Micron Filtration for Clean Water by Kenny Sarma

This product was used in a Culligan HF-150A whole house housing but under the sink. Whole-house filter cartridges are cheaper and filter much faster than under-the-sink products. This filter worked great, fit in the housing and made the water taste almost as delicious as our other 4 stage UV filtering rainwater system but at a much lower price. We don't do a separate phase of precipitation, just this one. I will update the review if the filter doesn't work well in the future. Update 1/10/2013 - it's still installed under our sink, hasn't leaked since the day we installed it and the water tastes great after filtering. then. We hooked it up to the cold side of the kitchen sink so ALL cold water goes through the filter. You can imagine how many gallons it has filtered through and it's still like new. There was no way either of them would have survived that long under the sink. In addition, windowsills cannot allow water to pass through quickly. Since it is a whole-house filter, it easily withstands the pressure. You can't even tell the difference between before and after install, and unless someone told you it was there, you wouldn't even know. I'll probably see and buy a few of these as spares when they drop in price. .
