I moved to the Seattle area of Washington from South Florida in March and haven't had an ice scraper or whisk since 1984. I ordered this part with some trepidation because it seemed too big to me due to the low price and because the removable parts often don't sit as securely as I would like. All my fears were erased at a glance. Everything is very solid, detachable parts are securely fastened. I am very happy with the purchase. Luckily I haven't had a chance to test it in the snow yet and I'll be fine if we keep it that way this winter; but I often get heavy dew on the side windows, so I need a mop in the morning. I highly recommend.
