My wife and I really like this massager. We tried another brand and didn't like them at all. My feet were the biggest he said he could handle but I was in pain and it wasn't a soothing massage so we returned them. Then I saw this open toe model and it was designed for a much larger foot than mine so we tried it. Doesn't matter! The massage effect is very beneficial and gives me enough legroom. One aspect we really like is the massage disc in the center of each foot with gentle curves that twist right into the arch of the foot. The toe and heel washers have rotating toes that really work in those two areas. The result is a very soothing massage that will make your feet tingle. It has a 20 minute timer that automatically turns the device off. Like most devices I've reviewed, it has a gentle heat function, but neither my wife nor I felt much heat. The reason for this is consumer safety, so I totally understand that. We are very satisfied with our purchase and can only recommend it. It has one downside that I will mention. The power cord is not securely connected to the device and keeps popping out of the device. It looks a lot like your laptop's power cord and connects in the same way with a small round plug. Every time you lift the device to move it or adjust it conveniently during use, the cord pops out and you have to plug it back in. Not necessarily a deal breaker, but it's an inconvenience for the user and the company should consider addressing this in future design changes. That's why I only gave four stars. Otherwise we are very happy with our purchase and use it every night.
