Above average protection without being bulky

I'm a long time UAG fan. I've used UAG on many phones and have always been impressed with the high level of protection in a sleek form factor. UAG cases are well thought out and generally a great combination of good looks and above average protection. All of my phones have survived multiple falls, including many from trailer cabs onto concrete or tarmac, as well as many shorter falls. Perhaps the worst damage was a new scratch on my UAG body. Cell phones have always survived falls unscathed. With that track record, UAG was at the top of my list of cases for the new iPad Pro. I tried one of the tank-like cases and it turned the iPad into a brick, which has nothing to do with the sleek and sexy iPad wrapped in an ugly cloth. Not to mention it made things clunky and difficult in everyday use. It only took a few weeks to decide whether UAG would offer an iPad case. They did, and it looked like UAG could do the job. Excellent protection without obscuring too many of the iPad's smooth lines. Pros: great fit. It fits snugly without affecting the ease of inserting and removing the iPad. This way I can clean and polish regularly without having to take the day off just to do a quick clean. While it's easy to install and remove, once inserted it stays securely in place so you don't have to worry about it falling out of the case. After that, there are no warps or gaps on the outer edges of the case. The front of the case offers more than enough relief to protect the screen from scratches if you place it face down on a table or drop it on an uneven surface. The outer band has reinforced protection on the corners most vulnerable to falls. The back of the case hugs the shape and follows the lines of the iPad without adding bulk. The overall look is "rough" but don't overdo it. The outer shell is textured to ensure a secure fit. Even with wet hands, the texture does not feel slippery. And it looks great to boot. minuses. So far I can only find that the front cover is sometimes poorly hidden. This setup is quite common on a desktop stand that mounts like many car phone speakerphones. The front cover interferes with the clamp on one side. Small problem and I can work around it. If it gets stolen or lost I will definitely buy another one. Highly recommended.
