Ideal for clutch during pregnancy

I bought these extensions for my clutch pedal. I am 5ft 6 inches tall and was 7 months pregnant driving a Toyota FJ Cruiser. To reach the clutch, I had to rest my pregnant belly on the steering wheel (accelerator and brake pedals were easy to reach regardless of seating position). After reading the reviews I realized two things: the brake extension must work for my clutch and fitting can prove tricky due to the lack of proper instructions (this only applied to the accelerator pedal extension which was not used in this Casr ). I bought a kit because I just wanted to lengthen the clutch. The seat is all the way back, I can reach the gas and brake easily. I actually had no problem fitting the brake extension or understanding what adjustments might be needed (the extension fits 3" to 7" extensions). An accelerator pedal extension is probably a tricky job, many more parts are needed. Installation was actually the only problem we had, but we managed. The clutch lever approaches the pedal at an angle at the corner of the pedal, but the lever also pushes the pedal forward. At the top of the pedal, you could add an extension just half an inch from the pedal. I had to enlist the help of my father (not flexible enough at 6 months pregnant) to squat and fasten but he managed after a little scolding. That works great! I have about 6 cm of space between my stomach, which is now 8 months pregnant, and the handlebars, all pedals are easily accessible and the extension is still secure. I suggest that if the installation requires less than perfect fastening, that the tightness be checked regularly to ensure safety. Honestly, I wish I had bought it sooner!
