I don't know why American kegs don't use this type of tap. High quality smooth metal finish with a grip that doesn't feel fragile. The seal is like high quality rubber that should last for many years. It comes with two fastening nuts for gas and liquid lines and a gas nipple. Remember the vertical distance for the gap. I use a Haier brand kegerator and although it did fit when the keg was in the open position the line was slightly kinked.
