Think the same way as an unmanaged network switch, in the sense that all ports can receive data from the parent controller, but no more than 1 parent controller can exist at a time. Other commenters say that you should run a cable from your ARGB source (like the mobo ARGB header) to the DG_1 header in particular - I agree with this approach. Regardless, the incoming signal is duplicated as the outgoing signal for the rest of the headers (the DG_1 input is copied to DG_2, DG_3, ., DG_11, DG_12, like the output in the previous recommendation/example). Also good news! Looks like they've fixed the "loose header" issue reported by commenters (all fine and tidy).
