You can hook up so many LEDs to the motherboard just before it needs power to work properly and then you need that. The power connector is perfect, as are the 5v 3 pin connectors. It does what it promises. The top and bottom plastics have been film coated so they arrive in perfect condition. I haven't had any problems with loose plugs. The connectors on the board are male pins, so I expect problems with the socket before blaming the pins. The hub works as advertised, it actually worked and allowed multiple ARGB devices to be powered simultaneously. However, this allowed power to be applied through the motherboard during system shutdown and bootup. The first power supply died after about 45 days of use. The second only lasted about 30 days.
