The computer has never attempted to start with this device connected. Even with only 5V Arg and the mains plug connected. After trying to use this splitter, my CPU was dead. The motherboard now has "CPU" lit in the corner. Tried a new motherboard, same thing. The CPU was known to run with this fine tuning before this splitter was used. After getting a brand new motherboard and processor, my cooler for my processor didn't catch fire with the new motherboard. Disassembled and found a burned out LED inside. After getting a new water block, processor, and motherboard, I'm back to where I was before I tried this junk product. Don't try to save $10. I saw another 1 star review here where the same thing happened to him. Didn't think this could happen to me.
