It does what it promises. The top and bottom plastics have been film coated so they arrive in perfect condition. I haven't had any problems with loose plugs. The connectors on the board are male pins, so I expect problems with the socket before blaming the pins. I used a different cable to connect it to the motherboard, but the one that comes with it is nice and long. Most likely the SATA cable will run out sooner than the ARGB cable. There are no instructions, but they are not needed. I simply connected the motherboard connector to the first port and then to other devices. plug and play
