Review on GE WH41X10096 Authentic OEM 4.5 ft. Corrugated Drain Hose for GE Washer by Doug Ellingson

Genuine GE part fits my Moffat washing machine perfectly. GE makes Moffat. When installing this drain hose, be sure to clean the friction fit that the hose goes into to remove any grit or debris that may interfere with the seal. Be prepared for some water to drip out of the old hose when it is removed. Also, bending the expansion hose up and down to fit your washing machine and standing drain pipe will help, gently heating the plastic with a hair dryer. Cold pipe is more difficult to bend without damaging the hose at the flexible fittings. I also used a very thin coat of silicone grease [not silicone sealant!] to make the new hose easier to put on. Don't forget to fit a new hose clamp. [GE part WH16X513] Works great and is worth the money!
