I used this to install a Panasonic 50 inch plasma (TC-P50S2) in November 2010. The mount arrived very quickly (to California) and was not damaged. I had a bit of an issue with the length of the screws, assuming the brackets are attached to the back of the TV. When I called Panasonic to verify the length of the screws used, they recommended 15mm, which was not included. After checking the depth of the holes on the back of the TV, I found that 20mm would be enough to hold the TV without being deep enough to touch components inside the TV. So I bought 20mm screws from H.Depot. The bracket was very easy to wall mount and will easily hold a 50" plasma. The only issue that bothers me is that there doesn't seem to be a way to stop the TV from moving side to side in the event of an earthquake. The two vertical screws that prevent the TV from moving back to front certainly won't prevent it from moving sideways. I bought a set of two aluminum window skids and attached them to the top flange of the back plate after centering the TV so it wouldn't move sideways easily. They only cost a few dollars. Be sure to align the back panel before hanging the TV on it. (This process is well explained in the instructions and very easy to follow). We have an L-shaped living/dining room. The TV is mounted in a nearby corner on a 5ft wide wall at a 45 degree angle. Being able to rotate the TV so it can be seen from any room is great. Overall, this mount is very solid, easy to install and looks good. Great price is a big plus. We've seen similar mounts at Best Buy for over $300.
