Command Strips are my best friend. Especially the ones with velcro. In college I use them to hang my heavier framed paintings AND my cork board/bulletin board. And they hold a lot of weight. The beauty is that you simply take two of these strips, tape them together, and then just tape one side to the item you're installing, peel the backing of the strip from the side of the wall, and just stick it to the wall. Really easy. In addition, great ease of removal. All you have to do is gently pull on your photo and the Velcro will open. Then remove the bar from the wall. The beauty of stickies is that they can be reused! Since you already have one attached to the frame, all you have to do is place the new one on the wall you want to hang it on. I have never left any damage in my hostel.
