Bought this for my PS5 to use on my Samsung NVMe SSD 980. It had no manufacturer's packaging and was packaged in a tiny zippered pouch. Included in the box are 3 transparent small rubber rings (to hold them to the SSD) which looked like they would break when subjected to heat stress after prolonged use. I thought there was enough glue on the thermal pad and heatsink itself to hold the SSD (but it didn't). I wasn't sure if the rubber parts would hold up over a long period of time. They are also tricky to apply as there are no clear grooves on the heatsink itself to show where they will wrap. There are no instructions either. This item literally looked like it was custom made as they hadn't bothered with the packaging. Considering how expensive these SSDs are, as well as the PS5 that will surely have many of these purchases, I do not recommend this product due to poor manufacturing quality. Since these heatsinks are now hard to come by, I managed to buy one from Reletech through New Egg. It was cheaper and ironically better made, with a full top and bottom cover actually held together in a body that snaps into place. If you can find it still in stock and need it now, I would highly recommend this brand. skip it Better safe than sorry, especially if you're betting these things on expensive tech, be it PC or PS5!
