This is a nice simple setup that does what it's supposed to do and if you're willing to drill a hole in the table (10mm) it can be extra clean, doesn't wobble etc. Biggest problem that you have seen from others is: It uses bolts and friction to prevent the monitor from falling. This means that you must tighten the appropriate screw /tightly/. By default, on the cleanest looking assembly, the rotation when tightening this screw actively contributes to play during tightening. If you turn the clamp upside down instead, the train now fights against sagging, with the very slight downside of an uglier nut/bold print popping up. I'm using a modern 27 inch monitor, not particularly heavy (externally powered). By default, the monitor is positioned approximately 7 inches, 18 cm in front of the back of the table. Rotating the clamp on the stand allows you to move left or right about 35mm, which also moves the monitor backward about the same distance.
