My daughter loved this gift and wears it all the time. It's heavy and well made and will hold up to my daughter jumping, playing, and fighting in a dress. It easily lasts for several years. The only problem I have is that the chain keeps breaking. I had to swap the adapter ring for the suspension because it kept falling off. It can be a problem if you have a kid in the house who puts something in his mouth (like his little brother).
