Review on EVEO Premium Dual Monitor Stand Mount - Ultrawide Screen Desk Mount with Full Motion Mechanics, Adjustable Height/Tilt/Swivel/Rotation - Holds 18.5lbs/arm by Scott Bradford

Could be a great booth. But that's not the case.

What's good: Very easy to assemble. I would say the whole process took about 30 minutes. - Looks great. The stand looks sharp, doesn't look too cheap. (Read on for more clarity on this.) The Bad: The levers themselves are in two separate pieces, so there's noticeable play in all of the joints. Particularly important details are the lower supports for each hand. I don't have exact measurements but I would say side play is about 3/4 inch. I assume that the situation will only get worse over time. Different spring rates out of the box. The upper part of the arm that houses the springs appears to be installed differently when delivered, or one of the arms is defective. One of my monitors is heavier than the other. The arm with the lighter monitor is lowered vertically while the height of the heavier monitor is lowered. -_- tried adjusting the spring to fix the vertical issue but was unsuccessful. Deformity: - The instructions for adjusting the spring arms refer to a different model. For example sound voltage adjustment when on the side, and the instructions say they are on top - quality control. My last comment is the most unacceptable flaw of this product. Set screws are included to lock the rotation of each pivot point in each arm. The instructions state that the Allen key provided should be used to install the set screws. One small problem, the set screws that came with it had a FLAT HEAD! I have several flat head screwdrivers but the same glaring error in the quality control process is ridiculous. Final Thoughts: If the machining had been done to a tighter tolerance so there was less play in the arms, the springs would have been set exactly the same. out of the box, and the instructions and tools that came in the box were actually pretty up to date; I would give it 4-5 stars.

Pros
  • Fingers crossed
Cons
  • Lots of stuff
