Works well and I installed it myself in my wife's Jeep Wrangler JLU. The instructions weren't too clear (Remove the hitch from the bumper. Really? I didn't). It was inconvenient to remove the existing braces, but I was able to remove them. The instructions do not address whether and how an existing brace can be removed. In the end a good product for my use (trunk) and I'm glad I got this receiver hitch.
