This is my first time buying/using an epilator. I chose this one because it seemed easy and affordable - I didn't want to splurge on something I wasn't sure I wanted. I hate shaving and waxing is messy. I also hate buying expensive razors and wax kits. And creams like Nair always give me a rash. Enter this cool gadget! So far I've used it on my upper lip, chin, big toe hair, armpits and legs. (What an exciting hair removal night!) If you're used to waxing, it probably won't be much different in terms of pain. I shave my legs most of the time and haven't had waxing for quite some time. The first round was pretty intense. but maybe that was more of a shock than anything else. When I started it wasn't that bad. The places I've used it are so smooth! A few fine hairs are still there, but to be honest they aren't that noticeable anyway, so I don't care. My thick dark body hair is gone. Pros of this particular device: Affordable. Easy to use for a first time epilator. Comes with instructions to help you keep it at the right angle. Pretty long cable. Not too loud. Can only be used dry. Really no frills. No additional attachments, no light. Very light and not sure if it will withstand a drop to the ground.
