I received a newer Samsung 4k TV that came with an absolutely horrible remote with almost no buttons. For example, if you want to jump to a specific channel, either click up or down dozens of times or bring up a menu that requires you to jump to enter a number. incredibly slow and cumbersome. Also other features I usually use such as B. accessing sleep mode or simply switching inputs to one of the HDMI ports. it was all awkward through the menu. This remote has dedicated buttons for almost everything, just like all my old Samsung TVs. If you don't use voice or smart controls on your new device and just want to do everything quickly with buttons, and especially if you're used to old remote controls, this is what you need. My only complaint is that the night light function is very weak even with new batteries, but that's not a bother.
