Review on Grommet Chrome Polish with a Reduced Opening for Precise Application by Robert Berio

I bought a set of 5 of these table mats. 3 of them had great finishes, no issues. 1 was badly scratched which is difficult for them as they are quite thick metal and had many abrasions on and under the surface. The other had minor surface wear but was in fair condition. This is amazing as they come in individually sealed foam envelopes inside a large padded envelope. I'm assuming it's a processing issue at the factory. Apparently they need better quality control for the goods that leave the door. Overall I'm happy with the purchase, but it's easy to see that the quality of the items received is just 'luck'. I could imagine a pack of 1 or 2 usable pads. Spending $5 on EACH such eyelet is obviously a special purchase and they are bought for OUTDOOR PERFORMANCE. The attention to detail should be MUCH MORE when you're paying 5X more for a product where you can get a plain black plastic sleeve for $1 or less at Lowes.
