Review on 📍 Double Pack of IG-PSTARA: i.Trek Garmin Nuvi GPS Adhesive Mount for All Garmin Nuvi GPS Models (2 pcs) by Brad Collins

I bought a pair of these mounts earlier (December 2019). The ball size is 17mm, the same as literally everything except the Rhino 1" mounts. They worked very well and I trusted the brand so I bought another set. The older pair still sticks like glue to the wireless phone charger (ZeeHoo) and Garmin GPS mount. I wanted to remove the other Garmin GPS mount from the windshield as it wasn't holding securely. The dash is the same as the ZeeHoo mount so I knew the finish would be fine as always so I attached the mount. After 24 hours I snapped the Garmin mount into place and adjusted the viewing angle, the sticky base was hard as if old and not pliable. It was a little sticky, but certainly not enough to support any weight. Because I needed this mount to hold my oh GPS, I bit the bullet and drilled/screwed my dash. That wasn't the route I wanted to go, so I spent good money (IMO) on quality adhesive mounts. Now my apprehensions have turned to other mounts (which, to be honest, have held up well for over a year), and the thought of one of these coming loose while riding and risking this senario kept me drilling my dash. I've already made 2 holes, that's a few more. Now these mounts are permanent unless I buy a new dash. I didn't feel the need to rush and complain to the seller because I solved my problem, albeit not in the way I wanted. I can buy them again but I know there is a chance to get another one with old glue. The mount's performance in terms of holding position, flex/positioning is great and that's why I originally bought it. Therefore I would buy again.
