GE branded cartridges are expensive but typically last close to a year so compared to traditional brands they are worth every penny. When the last GE cartridge was installed we ordered another set of GE MWF water filters as usual, but what we didn't realize was that the cartridges shown were from Pureline and not GE. It wasn't until the last GE filter finally ran out and we installed our first Purline filter that we realized we had ordered the wrong product as the Pureline cartridge only lasted two months. A second Pureline filter has been installed - we'll see how long this lasts.
