Scratching is natural for cats. This is necessary for their overall health and keeps their claws sharp for self-defense, eating, and climbing. Broken, deformed, and untidy nails can cause a variety of infections and diseases in a cat. I ordered two of these scratch holders from Lohome for use in playpens which I also ordered on the same day. I have to take care of my cats for a short time. I have my own cats and sometimes I take them with me. Cats need to scratch and climb, even in the kennel. I was glad to find her on Revain. This scratching post is perfect. This is a great scratching post. I was very impressed. This is a solid construction, sisal is durable, accessories are not cheap, but at the same time very high quality material. It is very easy to install in a standard drawer of any length and width. I waited a few months before posting a review because I was concerned about durability, but these scratching posts can handle multiple cats on a daily basis. I plan to buy more in the future.
