They are good. I only use them for paint jobs so I usually put some glue on them, stick them in, then come back later and fill in any gaps with putty or putty before painting. This is very handy because they already have the right taper to sit flush with the wood surface. This is a great way to make your bag projects look more professional. Just don't expect them to match perfectly when trying to stain your project because of the different wood textures.
