for reference before pregnancy i weighed 140 pounds and was 5ft 6 inches tall. my waist is 28 inches and i am 38 years old at the widest point of my hips. a slight bulge compared to the average bulge size. I took the large because I wanted it to be less sticky and it fit great! It definitely won't fit unless I'm pregnant so I'll order a medium or small size later! I have the color mocha, it's not shiny and it's so soft. It looks like a very good fabric. Maybe it's because I got it in a large size and I didn't have the transparency issue that some people have. I don't think the fabric is very forgiving. Shows cellulite and buns. But I think you can get your height or size and still be ok!
