Review on πŸ”Š Enhance Your Audio Experience with YAMAHA RX-V4A 5.2-Channel AV Receiver and MusicCast Integration by Robert Aiono

Cyclops πŸ˜‰ πŸ‘ Amazing receiver. Update: The 120/4K update may never come.

I'm improving it but so far I'm very impressed. Be sure to download and use the MusicCast app for ease of use and customization. It took me several attempts to connect. The MusicCast app makes it easy to set everything up. Each input has a number of settings that you can adjust. My new X900H found the receiver automatically and guided me through the integration process. I can easily play music on my iPad via Bluetooth on the receiver. The device itself is much larger than my V373 and is glossy rather than matte. Do You Have Questions? updated: 03.12. 2020 It seems that all new AVRs are built with chips that can't display full 120/4K over HDMI. Yamaha still says a future update will fix this issue, but I'm starting to wonder if I bought a faulty product. I would refrain from buying until this is clarified. You can easily connect your Xbox or PS5 directly to your TV and use eARC to route audio. This receiver is not required if you have an eARC compatible receiver. Hopefully for those of us who bought these receivers they will offer a new receiver if the firmware update doesn't add full 120/4K support. Apparently they can fool him by offering a smaller color range and still outputting 120/4K. I want a free upgrade or a refund if we don't get what we paid for.
