Review on Tire Michelin Primacy 3 215/55 R18 99V by Wiktor Iwanski ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

It's not all bad, an average quality purchase.

Volvo V70-III, 235/45 R18. 2.4 front, 2.3 rear. Made in Spain. I got it for a promotion, 26,800. per set. At +10 and below, the tires are quite hard and noisy. In warmer weather, it becomes much softer, but not too much - to a comfortable state. It steers very well, there is no rutting, it behaves very well at speed - the car is just like on rails. Great for cornering. It also behaves well on a wet road, the only thing is that it hasn’t driven into puddles yet, but I think everything will be fine there. One minus — it is noisy at speed. Up to 120 km / h it is not audible at all. A little higher - at first there is such a uuu . uuu . uuu . And then, by 140 km / h, it just starts to make noise. At 180 km / h it is no longer possible to talk. Very exhausting, on highways or dragging 120 km / h, or go nuts from the noise. I just arrived with a square head, but in just a day I drove 600 km. In terms of driving performance - it is excellent, only this noise . Crosses out for me almost all the pluses, since I drive 80% outside the city, on high-speed roads.

Pros
  • Handles well, soft enough.
Cons
  • Noise!
