I have used the Apple leather case with an iPhone 8 (without the Magsafe of course) and was very happy with the basic protection, feel and handling. This case probably doesn't protect it from drops as well as the Incipio Duo (mostly my go-to) and other bulkier cases that are better at drop protection, but the $23.99 + tax was hard to overlook.
