Review on Belkin Powered Ultra Slim 4 Port F4U040V by Jason Hood

WARNING - this hub does not work as a passthrough on all USB devices. I contacted Belkin customer service and was told that some devices such as the Apple DVD player and my Western Digital backup drive would not work properly. Basically, they told me that any powered device might not work because that device cannot meet the flexibility requirements. Works great for basics like a memory card reader and charging small devices, but nothing more. Most larger powered items do not work and therefore require their own connection, which defeats the general purpose of this item. Now I keep mine in a box with lots of parsley.
