Review on 💾 Aiposen 1.8 IDE Adapter with CF to 50 Pin by Jonathan Lamp

Bought to put a compact flash drive in the IPOD Photo. I didn't realize this until it was too late, but the adapter they sent me didn't have any of the pins on the bottom soldered to the actual board. They were soldered on the top and the photos of this article posted here lead me to think they should have been soldered on the bottom as well, but mine aren't. I assume this is a manufacturing error. The adapter works fine when the IPOD case is open, but as soon as I close it, one of the pins on the bottom bends slightly due to the displacement inside the case, and the hard drive spins down. I severely damaged my IPOD trying to figure out what the problem was and as a result I had to replace several parts (cables) in it. Beware if you want to buy this on Amazon.
