To be honest, it seemed easy enough to assemble and while it would have been easy with 2 people, I was managing just on my own, until I got to the legs. The legs did not attach properly - were very loose, despite trying several times. Then, when I tried to lay the shelf with the legs on the floor, 2 of them pulled right out of the fittings, and pulling off the wood veneer etc. I still tried a few times even with some of the wood missing, but zero success, so I unscrewed everything, packaged it all back up again, and returned it to Best Buy. I know that the particle board that is used for most of this furniture is not that sturdy, but I have never had something pretty much disintegrating in my hands. In fact I have several other pieces of furniture that needed assembly and purchased from Best Buy, so I think this was just a badly made one.I do not recommend this!
